Manu Trigueros will leave Villarreal CF this summer.
The long history between the player from Talavera and the club is coming to an end. Manu will leave as the player with the most appearances in the yellow jersey (503 in total and 474 official matches) after joining the club in 2010 from Murcia.
An academy product with a stellar progression, he reached the first team in the 2012 season where he established himself, becoming the captain and experiencing the club's first-ever title win.
Their destination is not confirmed at the moment. The team with the highest chances of securing their services today is Granada CF. Some rumors place them in the orbit of Valladolid CF or Espanyol, but it seems the Andalusian club is ahead.
