Logan Costa, now the most expensive defender in the club’s history, completes the squad in terms of new arrivals.
From Toulouse, France, Villarreal CF has brought in Cape Verdean center-back Logan Costa to finalize the squad for the 24/25 season. The 23-year-old had become one of the best defenders in the French league last season, prompting Villarreal to pay €17.5M (plus add-ons) to secure his services.
At 1.90 m tall and with his imposing physique, we must also add his ability to play the ball out from the back. Logan averages an 83% success rate in completed passes, with a 93% success rate for passes in his own half.
